RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AWARDING BID AND CONTRACT FOR YARD PIPING
PHASE 1, CYPRESS WATER TREATMENT PLANT, CWF 03- 544 -23;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
of the Yard Piping Phase 1, Cypress Water Treatment Plant; and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest, responsible bidder is MW Builders, Inc.
who made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $1,757,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . Said unit price bid of MW Builders, Inc., with an estimated total of
$1,757,000.00 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract with the City with said Contractor for the construction of the Yard Piping Phase
1, Cypress Water Treatment Plant.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
