Ordinance Of The City Council Of The City Of Wichita Falls, Texas,
Amending The Taxicab Service Franchise Granted To All American
Cab To Increase The Number Of Authorized Vehicles
WHEREAS, All American Cab has a taxicab franchise to operate within the city
of Wichita Falls; and
WHEREAS, its General Manager has requested an increase in the number of
vehicles authorized under said franchise to provide better service; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 110, Vehicles For Hire, Article II, Division 2, Section 110-62
of the Code of Ordinances stipulates that a franchise may be amended by the City
Council to increase the number of vehicles authorized under the franchise at a public
hearing and after finding that an increase is required for public convenience and
necessity; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The taxicab franchise granted to All American Cab is hereby amended to
increase the number of vehicles permitted by three from 12 to 15.
