Ordinance Of The City Council Of The City Of Wichita Falls, Texas,
Rezoning Lots 3 And 4, Block 5, Southland Addition, Also Known As
1104 And 1106 Alma Street, And The Adjacent Alley Right-Of-Way,
From Limited Office To Limited Commercial, And Amending The
Land Use Plan To Change The Area From Low Density Residential To
Light Commercial.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed
zoning change at its September 9, 2009 meeting, and voted to recommend approval of
this request and related amendment to the Land Use Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed this request and determined that the
herein described Zoning and Land Use Plan amendments are in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
1. Lots 3 and 4, Block 5, Southland Addition, also known as 1104 and 1106 Alma
Street, and the adjacent alley right-of-way as shown on the attached map, incorporated
in this ordinance as Attachment "A", are hereby rezoned to Limited Commercial.
2. The Land Use Plan is hereby amended to reflect the aforementioned area as
light commercial.
