Ordinance Of The City Council Of The City Of Wichita Falls, Texas,
Appropriating To The Special Revenue Fund For The Public Health
Emergency Response Grant In The Amount Of $111,653 Received
From The Department Of State Health Services, And Authorizing
The City Manager To Execute All Documents Necessary To Accept,
Expend, And Administer Said Funds
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District has received
an award from the Department of State Health Services for H1 N1 Influenza
preparedness and response; and,
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls—Wichita County Public Health District and the
Department of State Health Services desire to enter into a contract to mitigate the
effects of H1 N1 influenza through planning, outreach and educational activities; and,
WHEREAS, approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to the
adoption of the FY 2009-2010 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated in the Special Revenue Fund the sum of $111,653
for the Public Health Emergency Response Grant to support public health emergency
response, and the City Manager is authorized to execute all documents necessary to
accept, expend, and administer said funds.
