RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) EACH
1 -TON CAB & CHASSIS WITH SERVICE BODY FROM HERB EASLEY
MOTORS IN THE AMOUNT OF $27,900.00, FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of one (1) each 1 -ton cab & chassis with service body; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on January 27, 2004, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase a 1 -ton cab & chassis with
service body for the City's Parks Maintenance Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTI 1 . Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of one (1)
each 1 -ton cab and chassis with service body to Herb Easley Motors of Wichita Falls,
Texas in the amount of $27,900.00.
SECTIO 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
