RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AWARDING; BID AND CONTRACT FOR THE WEEKS
TENNIS PARKING LOT PROJECT (CWF 04- HCR -02) FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
of the Weeks Tennis Parking Lot Project (CWF 04- HCR -02), and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Zack Burkett Co.,
who made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $40,438.50.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SEC TIO N 1. Said unit price bid of Zack Burkett Co., with an estimated total of
$40,438.50 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
S 2_ It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this, the 17th day of February, 2004.
