RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
INCENTIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE WICHITA FALLS
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION AND SHARP IRON, INC.
AND AMENDING THE CORPORATION'S 2003 -2004 BUDGET, FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, The Wichita Falls Economic Development Corporation has
recommended an economic development incentive agreement with Sharp Iron, Inc. for
job creation and retention, and
WHEREAS, Current estimates suggest the value of the agreement will require
an amendment to the Corporations fiscal year 2003 -2004 Budget in the amount of
$172,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTI 1. An Economic Development Incentive Agreement Between The
Wichita Falls Economic Development Corporation And Sharp Iron, Inc. is hereby
approved.
SECTI 2 _ The Corporations budget for the 2003 -2004 fiscal year is hereby
amended in the amount of $172,000.
S ECTION 3 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
