RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, DESIGNATING THE CITY MANAGER AS BEING
RESPONSIBLE FOR, ACTING FOR, AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY IN
DEALING WITH THE TEXAS PARKS AND WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT
FOR THE PURPOSE OF PARTICIPATING IN THE TEXAS
RECREATION AND PARKS OUTDOOR OUTREACH PROGRAM;
CERTIFYING THAT THE APPLICANT MATCHING SHARE IS READILY
AVAILABLE; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls (the "Applicant'), Texas desires to apply for
a Texas Recreation and Parks Outdoor Outreach Program (the "Program'), and
WHEREAS, the Applicant is fully eligible to receive assistance under the
Program; and
WHEREAS, the Applicant hereby certifies that the matching share for this
application is readily available at this time; and
WHEREAS, the Applicant hereby names Jim Berzina, City Manager, to act for
and on behalf of the city in dealing with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for the
purposes of the Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SEC 1 . The City Manager is hereby authorized to submit a Texas
Recreation and Parks Outdoor Outreach Program.
SECTI 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
