RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF FIFTEEN (15)
LIGHTBARS AND SIRENS, AND FOURTEEN (14) VEHICLE
PARTITIONS FROM EMERGENCY VEHICLE EQUIPMENT IN THE
AMOUNT OF $32,954.00; 1= INDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of fifteen (15) lightbars and sirens, and fourteen (14) vehicle partitions, and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on March 25, 2004, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase this equipment for the 2004
police patrol vehicles.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECT 1 . Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of fifteen
(15) lightbars and sirens, and fourteen (14) vehicle partitions to Emergency Vehicle
Equipment in the amount of $32,954.00.
SE CTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
