RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) EACH
1 -TON FOUR WHEEL DRIVE CAB & CHASSIS FROM GRANDE TRUCK
CENTER IN THE AMOUNT OF $23,914.00; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of one (1) each 1 -ton four wheel drive cab & chassis, and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on February 16, 2004, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase a 1 -ton four wheel drive cab &
chassis for the City's Sanitation Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of one (1)
each 1 -ton four -wheel drive cab and chassis to Grande Truck Center in the amount of
$23,914.00.
SE CTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
