RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF 1250 GALLONS
OF ANVIL 2 + 2 ADULTICIDE MOSQUITO SPRAY IN THE AMOUNT OF
$44,687.50 FOR THE HEALTH DISTRICT'S VECTOR CONTROL
PROGRAM; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to purchase an effective chemical to
be used by the Vector Control Program to control mosquitos; and
WHEREAS, Public Health Equipment and Supply Company is the sole source
supplier of this product,
WHEREAS, sufficient funds were appropriated in the current budget for
purchase of this chemical.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTION 1 . Authorization is granted for the purchase of 1250 gallons of Anvil
2 +2 ULV in the amount of $44,687.50.
SE CTION 2.. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
