RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS AWARDING BID AND CONTRACT FOR THE FLOW
CONTROL VAULT, SLUDGE PUMP STATION NO. 3, AND BRINE
PUMP STATION AT CYPRESS WATER TREATMENT PLANT
PROJECT (CWF 04- 544 -03); FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
of the Flow Control Vault, Sludge Pump Station No. 3, and Brine Pump Station at
Cypress Water Treatment Plant Project (CWF 04- 544 -03), and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is MW Builders of
Texas, Inc., who made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $1,039,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTI 1. Said unit price bid of MW Builders of Texas, Inc., with an estimated
total of $1,039,000.00 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute a contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of the Flow
Control Vault, Sludge Pump Station No. 3, and Brine Pump Station at Cypress Water
Treatment Plant Project (CWF 04- 544 -03).
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
