RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) EACH
VACUUM EXCAVATION SYSTEMS FROM WITCH EQUIPMENT
COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $55,848.06, FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of two (2) each vacuum excavation systems, and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on February 13, 2004, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase two (2) vacuum excavations
systems for the City's Water Distribution Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SE CTI ON 1 . Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of two (2)
each vacuum excavation systems to the low bidder meeting specifications, Witch
Equipment Company in the amount of $55,848.06
SEC TIO N 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
