RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID TO NORTH TEXAS
DEMOLITION IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,449.00, DIRT WORKS IN THE
AMOUNT OF $20,340.00 AND MOTE, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF
$24,540.00; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
demolition of seventeen (17) hazardous structures; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on March 26, 2004, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to have the hazardous structures
demolished.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SE CTION 1 . Award is hereby made to North Texas Demolition for one (1)
property in the amount of $3,449.00, Dirt Works for nine (9) properties in the amount of
$20,340.00, and Mote, Inc. for six (6) properties in the amount of $24,540.00.
SEC 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
