RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH CARTER & BURGESS,
INC. FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE TPDES PHASE II
STORMWATER PERMIT COMPLIANCE, FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to complete the Texas Pollutant
Discharge Elimination System ( TPDES) Phase II Stormwater Permit Compliance; and
WHEREAS, Staff is proposing to use Carter & Burgess, Inc., for engineering
services for this project, and
WHEREAS, the City Council concurs with Staff's recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTION 1 . The Engineering Services Contract is hereby approved and the City
Manager is authorized to execute said contract with Carter & Burgess, Inc. for
engineering service for the TPDES Phase II Stormwater Permit Compliance.
SE CTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law. The total
cost shall not exceed $118,000.00.
