RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE
RESURFACING OFTHIRTEEN (13) TENNIS COURTS BY COURTS -N-
STUFF IN THE AMOUNT OF $28,493.00. FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
resurfacing of tennis courts at Weeks Park and Hamilton Park Tennis Centers; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on November 2, 2004; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to have the tennis courts at Weeks Park
and Hamilton Park Tennis Centers resurfaced.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTION 1 . Authorization is granted to award the bid for the resurfacing of
thirteen (13) tennis courts to Courts -N -Stuff in the amount of $28,433.00.
S ECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
