RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AN EXPENDITURE BY THE WICHITA
FALLS POLICE DEPARTMENT FROM THE SEIZED FUNDS ACCOUNT
FOR AN EXPENDITURE OF $7,000,00; FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls Police Department is awarded confiscated
funds; and,
WHEREAS, certain programs and procurements may be funded entirely by the
seized funds account, and,
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls Police Department wishes to purchase an online
subscription to Law Enforcement Automated Database Search: and,
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls Police Department has funding available in the
amount of $7,000 00 in the seized funds account for such subscription; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Cry Council to authorize this expenditure,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . The expenditure of funds in the amount of $3,000.00 from the
seized funds account by the Wichita Falls Police Department is hereby authorized for
expenses necessary to purchase a subscription to the Law Enforcement Automated
Database Search (L.E.A.D.S ).
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the pubiic as required by law.
