RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT FOR THE
PURCHASE OF FIVE (5) BELT FILTER PRESSES (CWF04- 544 -22);
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH
THIS RESOEUTUION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for five (5) Belt Filter
Presses (CWF04- 544 -22); and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is US Riter/JWI, Inc.
who made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $1,151,334.00; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT.
SECTION 1. Said unit price bid of US Filter /JWI, Inc., with an estimated total of
$1,15],334.00 is hereby accepted and approved, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute a contract for the City with said Contractor for supplying the five (5) bell
presses.
SE CTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this, the 2nd day of November, 2004,
