RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF PUBLIC SAFETY
DISPATCH CONSOLE FURNITURE FOR THE WICHITA FALLS
MUNICIPAL PUBLIC SAFETY TRAINING CENTER FROM BRAMIC
CREATIVE BUSINESS PRODUCTS LTD., THROUGH THE GENERAL
SERVICES ADMINISTRATION FEDERAL SUPPLY CONTRACT IN THE
AMOUNT OF $149, 392 04, FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS. Local Government Code Subchapter G, Section 2]1,103 allows a
local government to purchase goods and services available under Federal supply
schedules of the United States General Services Administration (GSA); and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase Public Safety Dispatch
Furniture for the Wichita Falls Municipal Public Safety Training Center; and
WHEREAS, it is in the City's best interest to purchase through the General
Services Administration Federal Supply Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . Authorization is granted to purchase Public Safety Dispatch
Furniture for the Wichita Falls Municipal Public Safety Training Center from grannie
Creative Business Products Ltd., in the amount of $149,392.04.
SECTION 2, It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
