RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, REJECTING THE BID FOR THE KICKAPOO
DOWNTOWN AIRPARK HANGAR AREA PROJECT (CWF 05 -24);
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls opened bids on August 8, 2005 for the
Hangar Area Project at Kickapoo Downtown Airpark; and
WHEREAS, the sole bidder significantly exceeds the engineer's estimate for this
project; and
WHEREAS, the City staff recommends that the bid be rejected.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . The bid for the Hangar Area Project (CWF 05 -24) at Kickapoo
Downtown Airpark is hereby rejected.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
