RESOLUTION OE= THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AWARDING BID AND CONTRACT FOR THE LAKE
KEMP RAW WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM PROJECT (CWF04- 544 -24),
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
of the Lake Kemp Raw Water Supply System Project (CWF04- 544 -24), and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is S.J. Louis
Construction, LTD, who made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $8,961,740.85.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECT ION 1 . Said unit price bid of S.J. Louis Construction, LTD, with an
estimated total of $8,961,740.85 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is
authorized to execute a contract for the City with said Contractor.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
