RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT FOR WINDTHORST
ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, CWF05- 100 -27; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE: PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
of the Windthorst Road Improvement Project, CWF05- 100 -27; and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest, responsible bidder is Duke Construction
Co. who made a unit price bid with an estimated total $205,880.45.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . Said unit price bid of Duke Construction Co. with an estimated total
of $205,880.45 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
