RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS. TEXAS, TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 TO THE LAKE
KEMP RAW WATER SUPPLY STSTEM PROJECT ICWF04- 544 -24) IN
THE AMOUNT OF $26,79476 FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with S.J. Louis
Construction with the estimated total cost of $6,964,740.85', and
WHEREAS, Change Order No 1 deducted $51,925.00 from the contract for a
revised cost of $8,909,815 85', and
WHEREAS, Change Order No 2 will add $26,79476 to the contract for a
revised cost of $8,936,610.61.
WHEREAS, the City staff has reviewed all aspects of this change order and feels
that it is in the City's befit interest to approve.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . Change Order No 2 for the Lake Kemp Raw Water Supply System
Project (CWF04- 544-24) is hereby approved and the City Manager is authorized to
make amendments to this contract.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
