RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, TO ACCEPT BID ITEM NO 2 OF THE JASPER WATER
TREATMENT PLANT EXPANSION DEMOLITION PROJECT CWF 04-
544-10-2 AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO SOUTHWEST
CONSTRUCTORS, INC.; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a lump sum contract with
Southwest Constructors, Inc. with the estimated total cost of $264,000.00', and
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $264000.00 of
which $237,600,00 has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due
of $26,400.00, and
WHEREAS, the City staff has Inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT'.
SECTI 1. The Jasper Water Treatment Plant Expansion Demolition Project,
Bid Item No 2, CWF 04- 54410 -2 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is
authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
