RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE
CITY'S CELLULAR PHONE SERVICE TO US CELLULAR IN THE
AMOUNT OF $26,048.00; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested proposals for
cellular phone service, and
WHEREAS, proposals were received and opened on May 10, 2004; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to contract for cellular phone services for
the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTIO 1. Authorization is granted to award the contract for cellular phone
services to US Cellular in the amount of $26,040.00
SEC 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
