RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF COMPUTER
HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE FOR THE POLICE /FIRE COMPUTER
AIDED DISPATCH AND RECORDS MANAGEMENT COMPUTER
SYSTEM, FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW,
WHEREAS, the City is in the process of replacing the Public Safety Computer
Aided Dispatch and Records Management Systems, and
WHEREAS, the City has contracted with Intergraph Public Safety Systems for
the application software and installation services, and
WHEREAS, the City is responsible for purchasing all of the necessary hardware
and other related software to complete the system; and
WHEREAS, the City has solicited bids from Qualfted Information System
Vendors for these various hardware and software components.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTI 1 . Authorization is hereby approved to purchase various hardware and
software components related to the Public Safety Computer Aided Dispatch and
Records Management Systems Replacement Project, as indicated in the attached bid
tabulation sheets.
SECTION 2 , It Is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
