RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID TO COMPUTER LAND OF WICHITA
FALLS IN THE AMOUNT OF $40,320 FOR THE PURCHASE OF
FORTY -FIVE COMPUTER WORKSTATIONS; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City's 2003 -04 budget includes funds to replace several
computers that are in excess of five years old and no longer adequate to run the City's
standard operating systems and applications; and
WHEREAS, bids were received from various Qualified Information Systems
Vendors for the purchase of these computers; and
WHEREAS, Computer Land submitted the lowest and most responsible bid for
the Hewlett- Packard model.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . Authorization is Hereby granted to award a bid to Computer Land
for the purchase of 45 computer workstations in the amount of $40,320.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
