RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ALUMINUM
BLEACHER ENCLOSURES AND ALUMINUM SEAT BOARDS
THROUGH THE BUYBOARD PURCHASING COOPERATIVE, FROM
HARPERS RECREATIONAL DESIGN, IN THE AMOUNT OF $42;191.94;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the COY of Wichita Falls requested price quotes for the purchase of
aluminum bleacher enclosures and aluminum seat beards; and
WHEREAS, The .City is authorized by Chapter 791, at seq., The Interlocal
Cooperation Act Of the GOVERNMENT CODE, to participate In purchasing Cooperatives,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase aluminum bleacher enclosures
and aluminum seat boards for Weeks Park and Hamilton Park Tennis Centers; and
WHEREAS, it is in the City's best interest to purchase through the BuyBOard
Purchasing Cooperative.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTION 1 . Authorization Is granted to purchase twenty-four (24) aluminum
bleacher enclosures and twenty -five (25) aluminum seat beams from Harpers
Recreational Design, in the amount of $42,191 94.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
