RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, GRANTING EXTENDED RESERVATION PRIVILEGE
TO THE SPECIAL OLYMPICS OF WICHITA FALLS FOR PRACTICE
USE OF THE TWO SOFTBALL FIELDS IN TESCO PARK FROM 9:00
A.M. TILL NOON JUNE 19 THROUGH OCTOBER 9 TH 2004; FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Special Olympics of Wichita Falls organization wishes to have a
summer baseball practice program for its three teams on Saturday mornings in TESCO
Park from June 19, 2004 through October 9, 2004; and
WHEREAS, they desire their teams to have a designated location and reserved
times for their activity; and
WHEREAS, no problems were! reported for similar uses the last two years at
TESCO Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . Extended reservation privilege is hereby granted to the Special
Olympics of Wichita Falls for use of the two softball fields in TESCO Park on Saturdays
from 9 :00 a.m. till noon June 19 through October 9 th 2004.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
