RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE PURCHASE
OF A HIGH PRESSURE BREATHING AIR SYSTEM FROM HOYT
BREATHING AIR PRODUCTS, IN THE AMOUNT OF $48,123.00;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of a high pressure breathing air system; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on June 22, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase a high pressure breathing air
system for the Public Safety Training Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE, CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of .a high
pressure breathing air system to the low bidder, Hoyt Breathing Air Products, in the
amount of $48,123.00.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
