RESOLUTION OF THE CITE' COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION
OF AN EMERGENCY GENERATOR AND LP TANK: FROM MARVIN
GROVES ELECTRIC IN THE: AMOUNT OF $30,508.00; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase and installation of an emergency generator and LP tank; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on ,June 10, 2004; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to have an emergency generator and LP
tank installed as a back -up power source for Fire Station #2.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SE CTION 1 . Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase and
installation of an emergency generator and LP tank at Fire Station #2 to Marvin Groves
Electric in the amount of $30,508.00.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
