RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE OF THE ANNUAL LEASE
AMOUNT ON TEN (10) LEASE LOTS AT LAKE KICKAPOO TO $338.00
FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS BEGINNING ON OCTOBER 1, 2004
THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30,2009; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 80 -86 dated June 3, 1986 established a policy for re-
leasing terminated leases with the lease agreement designating a five year review and
adjustment of the annual lease rate; and
WHEREAS, the lease rate was reviewed and increased from $200.00 to $260.00
by City Council Resolution 129 -97 dated August 19, 1997; and
WHEREAS, the current lease rate of $260.00 is subject to review and raising the
lease rate to $338.00 annually conforms to the rates established for the new generation
leases adopted through the passing of Resolution 77 -2001 dated June 28, 2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . The annual lease rate for lease lots at Lake Kickapoo, currently
leased for $260.00 shall increase to $338.00 per year beginning on October 1, 2004.
The annual payment will remain due on or before September 30` each year.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
