RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE OF THE PERMIT FEE
FOR OVER - THE -WATER STRUCTURES AT LAKES ARROWHEAD AND
KICKAPOO AND ESTABLISHING AN ANNUAL PERMIT; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 36 -98 dated March 17, 1998, established a policy for
over - the -water structures on Lakes Arrowhead and Kickapoo; and
WHEREAS, the permitting rate has never been increased and an annual
inspection fee has never been set; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to assure continued maintenance
of such structures, including docks and piers;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . An annual permit fee shall be established for over - the -water
structures at Lakes Arrowhead and K:ickapoo. Such fee is set at $50.00 and, other than
a new permit, shall be payable at the time of the property lease payment.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
