RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, APPROVING SALARY INCREASES FOR CERTAIN
COUNCIL APPOINTEES; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 2005 -2006 Budget includes a 4.5% salary increase
for all non -Civil Service employees; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City Council to take official action to grant this
salary increase to the Municipal Court Judge, City Attorney and City Clerk.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . A salary increase in the amount of 4.5% is hereby granted to the
Municipal Court Judge, City Attorney and City Clerk effective October 1, 2005. The
Mayor is authorized to execute a professional services agreement with the City
Attorney.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
