RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, AWARDING A PROPOSAL FOR THE CITY'S INSURANCE PROGRAM
TO BARNARD INSURANCE; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, City Staff has conducted a Request for Proposal process for
insurance coverages and renewal; and
WHEREAS, Two qualified insurance providers offered various levels and types of
coverages; and
WHEREAS, After review and consideration, City Staff is recommending awarding
the city's annual insurance renewal to Barnard Insurance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . The proposal for insurance services provided by Barnard Insurance
is hereby accepted.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which
this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
