RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, DETERMINING THE ROUTE OF THE MAPLEWOOD
EXTENSION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CITY'S THOROUGHFARE
PLAN; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH
THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, The City Council is interested in pursuing implementation of the
City's Thoroughfare Plan; and
WHEREAS, The City has adopted the Project and Financial Plan for the Tax
Increment Financing Reinvestment Zone #2
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . The continuation of Maplewood Avenue: to the west shall utilize the
general route of Avenue Z, thence moving southward to reach Lawrence Road at the
intersection of Trade Drive. Dimensional details shall be determined by the Department
of Public Works.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
