RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 3 TO THE
MEMBRANE FACILITY PROJECT (CWF 03- 544 -16) IN THE AMOUNT
OF $89,115.00; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with MW
Builders of Texas, Inc. with the estimated total cost of $14,177,000.00; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 added $1,200,000.00 from the contract for a
revised cost of $15,377,000.00; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 added $1,586,101.00 to the contract for a
revised cost of $16,963,100.00; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 will add $89,115.00 to the contract for a
revised cost of $17,052,216.00; and
WHEREAS, the City staff has reviewed all aspects of this change order and feels
that it is in the City's best interest to approve.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . Change Order No. 3 for the Membrane Facility Project (CWF 03-
544-16) is hereby approved and the City Manager is authorized to make amendments
to this contract.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
