RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF OFFICE AND
TRAINING FURNITURE FOR THE WICHITA FALLS MUNICIPAL PUBLIC
SAFETY TRAINING CENTER FROM KRUGER INTERNATIONAL, INC.,
THROUGH THE GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION FEDERAL
SUPPLY CONTRACT IN THE AMOUNT OF $92,106:00; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BYLAW.
WHEREAS, Local Government Code Subchapter G, Section 271.103 allows a
local government to purchase goods and services available under Federal supply
schedules of the United States General Services Administration (GSA) and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase office and training furniture for
the Wichita Falls Municipal Public Safety Training Center, and
WHEREAS, it is in the City's best interest to purchase through the General
Services Administration Federal Supply Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTI 1. Authorization is granted to purchase office and paining furmare for
the Wichita Falls Municipal Public Safely Training Center from Kruger International,
Inc., in the amount of $92,106.00.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
