RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, ACCEPTING A GRANT FOR THE PURCHASE OF
GLASS RECYCLING EQUIPMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $16,000.00;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to expand its recycling effort in the
area of glass, and
WHEREAS, in order to facilitate expansion of this program, a grant application
has been made to Nortex Council of Governments, and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this grant is for the purposes of purchasing glass
recycling equipment; and
WHEREAS, this grant has been made in the amount of $16,000.00 through the
Nortex Council of Governments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SE CTION 1 . The referenced grant is hereby accepted in the amount of
$16,000.00 for the purchase of glass recycling equipment.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
