RE= SOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE CITY'S
ESTIMATED ANNUAL REQUIREMENT OF POLYMER TO POLYDYNE,
INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $90,200.00; FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested vendors to test
their polymer; and
WHEREAS, tests were performed and bids were received and publicly opened
on February 2, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase polymer for the Wastewater
Treatment Plant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SE CTION 1 . Authorization is granted to award the bid for the City's estimated
annual requirement of polymer for the Wastewater Treatment Plant to Polydyne, Inc., in
the amount of $90,200.00
SE CTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 15th day of February 2005.
