RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE UPPER WET WELL
REHABILITATION PROJECT (CWF04- 550 -17) AND AUTHORIZING
FINAL PAYMENT TO BOWLES CONSTRUCTION CO.; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Bowles
Construction Co. with the estimated total cost of $368,225.00; and
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $332,616.50, of
which $324,301.09 has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due
of $8,315.41; and
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SE CTION 1 . The Upper Wet Well Rehabilitation Project CWF04- 550 -17 is
hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the
contractor.
SE CTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
