RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE PURCHASE
OF LOOSE EQUIPMENT FOR THE NEW AERIAL PLATFORM TRUCK
TO CASCO FIRE APPARATUS IN THE AMOUNT OF 518,39500',
FERRARA FIREFIGHTING EQUIPMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF
$5,48500: DOOLEY TACKABERRY FIRE EQUIPMENT IN THE
AMOUNT OF 55,422.95; NAFCO IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,303.00: FOUR
ALARM FIRE EQUIPMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $20,495.50 AND
BOUND TREE IN THE AMOUNT OF $147.57. FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for loose
equipment for the new aerial platform truck; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on December 20, 2004; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purctrase loose equipment for the new
aerial platform truck.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . Authcrization is granted to award the bid for loose equipment as
follows:
Casty Fire Apparatus in the amount of $18 395.00;
Ferrara Firefighting Equipment in the amount of $5,48500;
Dooley Tackaberry Fire Equipment in the amount of $5,422.95;
NAFCO in the amount of $2,383.00;
Four Alarm Fire Equipment in the amount of $20,495.50;
Bound Tree in the amount of $147.57;
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
