RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF COMPUTER
HARDWARE FOR THE LIBRARY'S AUTOMATED SOFTWARE
SYSTEMS; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, The computer hardware systems currently used to drive the Wichita
Falls Public Library automation systems are undersized and outdate; and
WHEREAS, The 2004 -2005 Budget approved purchase of replacement
hardware; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . A total of $27,779 is hereby authorized for the purchase of
replacement hardware, installation of software and other necessary services to Dynix
systems of Provo, Utah.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby oHiclally found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
