RE=SOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A DIGITAL
LOGGING RECORDER IN THE AMOUNT OF $83,155 FROM NICE
SYSTEMS, INC.; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING
AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, A digital logging recorder will be necessary to record voice traffic at
the Munic=ipal Public Safety Training Center, and
WHEREAS, City staff has solicited proposals, conducted demonstrations and
on -site visits to review different products on the market, and
WHEREAS, City staff is recommending the purchase of a voice logger from
NICE systems, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SE =CTION 1 . The purchase of a digital logging recorder from NICE Systems in
the amount of $83,155 is hereby authorized.
SE CTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
