RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE I . FIBER OPTIC CABLE PROJECT,
CWF04- 413 -25, AND AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT TO FIBER
NETWORK SOLUTIONS, INC.; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a unit price contract with Fiber
Network Solutions, Inc., with the estimated total cost of $143,364 26', and
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $151,954.84, of
which $145,030.12 has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due
of $6,924.]2: and
WHEREAS. the City staff has Inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE Cl TY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT.
SECTION 1. The IS Fiber Optic Cable Project, CWF04 -pB -25, is hereby
accepted and the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
SEC TION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
