RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 TO THE
MEMBRANE FACILITY PROJECT (CWF03- 544 -16) IN THE AMOUNT
OF $1,586,101.00; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with NIW
Builders of Texas, with an estimated total cost of $14,1]],000.00, and
WHEREAS, Change Order No 1 added $1 200,000.00 to the contract; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 would add $1,586,101.00 to the contract, for a
revised cost of $16,963,101.00; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No 2 would add 122 days to the contract; and
WHEREAS, the City staff has reviewed all aspects of this Change Order No 2
and feels that it is In the City's best interest to approve.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTION 1 . Change Order No. 2 for the Membrane Facility Project (CWF03-
544-16) hereby approved, and the City Manager Is authorized to make amendments to
this contract.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
