RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, APPROVING CHANGE ORDER N0.1 TO THE 2004
WATER BUDGET UTILITIES IMPROVEMENT PROJECT,
CWF04- 550 -12 IN THE AMOUNT OF $34,574.00 AND 20 CALENDAR
DAYS, FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH
THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with WPW
Utility Construction, Inc., with the estimated total cost of $196,8]].00, and
WHEREAS, Change Order No 1 would add $34,5]4.00 to the contract, for a
revised cost of $231,451 00 and an additional 20 calendar days, and
WHEREAS, the City staff has reviewed all aspects of this Change Order and
feels that it is in the City's best interest to approve.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL Of THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTION 1 . Change Order No 1 for the 2004 Water Budget Unifies
Improvement Project, CWF04- 550 -12, is hereby approved and the City Manager is
authorized to make amendments to this contract.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required bylaw.
