RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE
PURCHASE OF A PCR THERMAL CYCLER TO FISHER SCIENTIFIC,
LLC, IN THE AMOUNT OF $34,075.00. FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of a PCR Thermal Cycler and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on February 4, 211 and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase a PCR Thermal Cycler', and
WHEREAS, Homeland Security Funds are available for this purchase.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE Cl FY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTION 1 . Authorization is granted to award bid for the purchase of a PCR
Thermal Cycler to Fisher Scientific, LLC, in the amount of $34,075 00.
S ECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
