RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE SOLICITATION OF BIDS FOR THE
PURCHASE OF A MOBILE STAGE FOR THE PARKS & RECREATION
DEPARTMENT, FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City currently uses a stage for its outdoor concerts that is
manually operated and offers limited pedomance enjoyment for the public, and
WHEREAS, the City desires a higher quality and safer stage facility for its
outdoor concerts and other perfomances, and
WHEREAS, there is sufficient funding In various special recreation accounts.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
S ECTION 1 . The City Manager is hereby authorized to solicit bids for the
purchase of a mobile stage for the Parks & Recreation Department.
S ECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
