RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TRAFFIC
CONTROL MATERIALS FOR THE CITY'S TRAFFIC CONTROL
DIVISION FROM 3M TRAFFIC SAFETY SYSTEMS DIVISION,
THROUGH THE GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION FEDERAL
SUPPLY CONTRACT IN THE AMOUNT OF $25,800.00, FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, Local Government Code Subchapter G, Section 2]1.103 allows a
local government to purchase goods and services available under Federal supply
schedules of the United States General Services Administration (GSA) and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase traffic control materials for the
Traffic Control Division, and
WHEREAS, it is in the City's best interest to purchase through the General
Services Administration Federal Supply Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTION 1 . Authorization is granted to purchase traffic control materials for the
Traffic Control Division from 3M Traffic Safety Systems Division, in the amount of
$25,800.00.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
